Key qualifications
- Seven years of professional experience with human rights,
humanitarian affairs and development aid in (post-) conflict
situations and natural disasters in Asia, Africa, Europe and the
Pacific.
- Profound knowledge of international human rights, humanitarian
and refugee law, as well as transitional justice. Within these
areas, extensive experience with human rights advisory services;
legal research and analysis; project management; policy, advocacy
and strategy development; political and legal negotiations;
capacity building of partners in the field and local governments;
training related to human rights and humanitarian affairs; and
coordination and liaison with a wide range of actors, including the
UN, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, NGOs,
national authorities, and peacekeeping operations.
- Working experience from Prime Minister's Office in Haiti,
UN-OCHA, the Danish Permanent Mission to the UN, the International
Centre for Transitional Justice, the Danish Red Cross
(International Law Committee), and the Danish Ministry of Foreign
Affairs (Danida).
