Scientific Board

Terms of Reference

The members of RCT´s Scientific Board are appointed by RCTs Board of Directors and consist of 6 members including the chairman. The members are appointed for 3 years at a time, and reappointment can take place one time only. RCT´s director, professor in rehabilitation medicine, and RCT´s research director are participating in the meetings which are held twice a year. The Scientific Board is cross-functional and includes members within the fields of health science, social science and humanistic science; hence, reflecting RCT´s research areas. 


The aim of the Board is to advise RCT´s Board of Directors on the overall research strategy and its implementation, together with working towards ensuring an international anchoring of RCT´s research. In addition, the task of the Scientific Board is to review current research-related issues and research initiatives and keep up-to-date information about ongoing research projects. The Board regularly report on its activities to RCT´s Board of Directors.
